2020 Comprehensive Strategic Plan
For the Future of Paducah

THIS IS OUR PADUCAH

A vision for our future

Keep track of our progress with our Quarterly Reports and Annual Scorecard!

In 2018, we had the chance to hear from Paducah residents on the issues most important to the city and those who live in it. After hundreds of surveys, thousands of sit-down talks and more social media comments than we can count, we have a plan.

We broke that plan into four key visions below, each with a color-coordinated icon to help you track our progress. Look for these icons across city communications – whether on social media, city updates via email or the rest of this website – to keep tabs on how we’re building Our Paducah.

2020 Update!

With the 2020 Strategic Plan, we’ve refined our focus and updated all objectives. PLUS to better prioritize our Action Items, we now have two new Objectives Lists:

  • Continuous Improvement – Some goals can’t be simply checked off the list with a single action. They require a prolonged campaign to address. These action items are all in ongoing development.
  • What’s Important Later – These are peripheral goals which will become possible with the completion of more pertinent action items.
